Family Fast Day Simple lunch: 3rd October 2025 and 27th February 2026

On the 3rd of October, a large and enthusiastic group of nearly 40 Key Stage two pupils, joined us for a special lunch.

To mark CAFOD family fast day, we focused on 'living simply' in order to show solidarity with those who live in need.

Our 'simple' lunch consisted of soup and bread with fruit. It reminded us of others around the world who live without luxuries. 

In particular, we were delighted to welcome some year three pupils to this event for the first time.

Well done and thank you to all the pupils and staff who took part in such an important event. 

During Lent, we invited KS2 pupils to participate in this event once more, on Friday the 27th of February,

Again, we were so proud to see many returning faces, along with some new ones, to pledge their support.
