What is a Resource Base?
A Resource Base aims to offer an inclusive education for learners who may experience a variety of barriers to learning. A base looks to foster and develop life skills, as well as support academic learning. Children are encouraged to explore and grow, gaining confidence and self-esteem and an awareness of their own strengths and challenges. Staff in the Base are trained to support a wide variety of needs and access frequent professional development to further these skills.
