Attendance and Punctuality
We believe that everyday and every lesson counts. School attendance and punctuality are monitored on a daily basis.
If your child is going to be absent from school for any reason you must ring the school office by 8.50am and speak to a member of staff. We cannot accept answer phone messages. Unreported absences will be followed up by school with either a telephone call or home visit.
Classroom doors are open from 8.45am and the school day begins promptly at 8.50am. Pupils arriving after this time will be marked as arriving late (L).
Medical evidence will be required for all appointments taken during the school day.
We require all parents/carers to complete a Leave of Absence for any planned absences and discourage term time holidays which may result in a fine. Holidays can only be authorised in exceptional circumstances.
